The convergence of energy technology and information technology is resulting in an exciting array of new products, services and opportunities for energy consumers.  The question has been how can this transformational moment in the energy sector be harnessed to deliver benefits to all customers, not just the most technology savvy or affluent. As the energy sector becomes more decarbonized, more digitized and more distributed, opportunities for democratization are growing.  This session will explore how changes in public policy, the availability of data and analytic tools, unconventional partnerships, and a laser-focus on the customer, are changing the energy landscape and creating a new connectivity, awareness and engagement across energy consumers and communities.
