The District is home to a diverse set of Makers, from artists and crafters to engineers and biologists. However, while the district has numerous co-working spaces, there are only a few spaces in the district for people to access tools and workshop space. A thriving Maker ecosystem like the District needs physical spaces like tool libraries and co-manufacturing spaces all over the city for people to learn skills, work on their projects, produce their products and bring more communities in to the creative economy. Join a discussion on what the District has, what gaps we could fill and how we can all do it together.
