Joe Burgess is Vice President of Education at Flatiron School where he oversees all faculty, curriculum development and pedagogy.  Joe joined Flatiron School to create, launch and teach the initial iOS program at Flatiron School, having previously created an iOS course at Carnegie Mellon University.  Prior to Flatiron School, Joe was a technology consultant for IBM and wrote software as a freelance developer.  He received his degree in Information Systems and Economics from Carnegie Mellon University.
