Sarah Robertson is the Chief Product Officer at CommonLit, an edtech nonprofit serving nearly 7 million students and teachers worldwide. With a background in both visual and curricular design, Sarah helped transition CommonLit from a small online teaching resource to a free provider of digital reading tools, content, and data analytics. Sarah has a master’s degree in Curriculum & Teaching from Boston University and six years of experience teaching English in schools that serve low-income students. Sarah also served as the founding Literacy Specialist for the Massachusetts Teach For America Institute and helped develop Uncommon Schools’ close reading pedagogy.
